Work & Experience
As part of the costing team, I am responsible for calculating accurate pricing based on the materials, construction methods, and production steps required to manufacture each product. This includes analyzing component costs such as hardware, cushions, woven materials, and packaging systems, as well as evaluating specific processes like welding, bending, rolling, and laser cutting. My role requires a deep understanding of product structures and production techniques to ensure cost estimates are both competitive and realistic, supporting effective pricing strategies for the business.
In the Research and Development (R&D) team, I serve as a liaison between our production team and third-party partners representing international buyers. My responsibilities include ensuring that buyer requirements for samples and product development are clearly understood and properly implemented by production. I monitor communications on shared platforms to stay up to date with expectations, coordinate timelines, and address feedback or challenges to find balanced solutions that satisfy all parties involved. Additionally, I manage meeting notes, organize them into actionable items, and ensure timely follow-up to keep projects on track. My role demands strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
